WINTER TALK - Sailing to Antartica - Gordon Campion, Thurs 7th March, 7pm

This is the story of sailing in Antarctica in a 70' steel expedition sailing yacht "Global Surveyor" from Largs. Gordon joined the boat in Ushuaia for 21 days at sea, first crossing Drakes Passage then visiting research stations and ex-whaling stations. He saw penguins, whales, and a lot of icebergs. Gordon will show slides, a short film and entertain you with his story.
The bar will be open from 19:00 hrs with the talk commencing at 19:30 hrs.
