Welcome to RFYC!
Applying for membership of the Royal Forth is a two-stage process whereby we ask you to create an online account, and then complete and email additional details such as family members and/or craft requirements via the application form in downloads below. Everyone is welcome!

To begin creating your account, please click the green button at the foot of the page and send in your completed form to follow. We will be in touch with any further questions or to simply 'approve' your membership and send your introductory email and invoice.
Any seasonal yard storage or mooring fees will be applied as appropriate following discussion of your requirements. See details of Summer and Winter rates here.
Membership Types
Ordinary: Members (aged 18 and over) who have full rights and privileges of Membership.
Associate: Members (aged 18 and over except for Cadets) who may use the Club and its facilities, except that they may not (i) moor a boat in the harbour or store one in the yard (unless otherwise stated) or (ii) vote at any General Meeting. Associate members include the following:
- Out of Port: Members not permanently resident within 60 miles by road of the clubhouse (OOP);
- Under 25: Members under the age of 25 who do have the right to moor a boat in the harbour or store one in the yard (Under 25);
- Student / Apprentice: Members in full time education or training who do have the right to moor a boat in the harbour or store one in the yard (Student);
- Cadet: Members under 18 years of age who may use the Club and its facilities, including the right to store a boat in the yard except, they may not purchase or consume alcohol on the premises (Cadet);
- Non-Sailing Cadet Parent/Carer: The parent or carer of a Cadet member shall have the right to use the Clubhouse and take part in the social activities and Cadet activities of the Club but not to take part in other sailing activities, except as infrequent guests (NSCP/C).
- Non-Sailing Spouse/Partner: Members who are the spouse/partner of an Ordinary, Under 25 or Student Member. Such Members have the right to use the clubhouse and take part in the Club social activities but not sailing activities (NSS/P).
Family: Membership covers Ordinary membership for the applicant and the applicant's spouse/partner and Cadet membership for each child up to their 18th birthday.
Current Subscription Rates
All memberships renew in the New Year.If joining mid season, fees are also prorated from 1st June until 1st October, after which full fees carry over into the following year.

Payment: Payment will be requested via an online invoice following successful approval of your application and should be made within 14 days. Payment can be made via debit/credit card or via the set up of GoCardless direct debit payments.
NB: On applying to become a Member, the data collected on this form will only be used by the Club for its own internal management. Once a member, you may select your own privacy settings for inclusion in the Club's Internal Membership Directory. Information except name is hidden to all Members unless you choose otherwise.
