Edinburgh Regatta 2023, incorporating the VX One Nationals - congratulations all!

As well as hosting the VX One National Championships last weekend, RFYC also ran the annual Edinburgh Regatta jointly with the Forth Corinthian Yacht Club. A total of 35 yachts entered the combined events with visitors from Fisherrow and Port Edgar YC for the Edinburgh Regatta and from Ireland and the north of England for the VX One Nationals. The event was a success both on and off the water with 8 races total in increasing north easterly winds plus amazing catering from Will Davies on the House team ashore. The VX Ones said they had their best ever class dinner on Friday. Great fun was had on the water and enjoyable socialising onshore.

Visitor feedback included, "Just wanted to drop a note to say thanks to Royal Forth for running a great VX event at the weekend, very well organised with a very friendly club, great weather and excellent catering. Hope to be back in the near future" and "Thank everyone for their friendly welcome and hospitality. We loved the club with its interesting history".
