Successful Lift In

Yesterday marked the official start to the season with lift in. A large number of boats were lifted in, aided by boat owners and fellow club members. The weather was kind and the day passed without a hitch. A huge amount of credit and thanks goes to the harbour team for a superbly run exercise on the day, not to mention the significant amount of pre-work servicing and laying moorings, planning the event and making it all happen. This takes up a huge amount of effort and time and the club owes them all a great deal of thanks. It was also great to see the Clubhouse serving quality homemade food to keep the workers fuelled, fed and watered. A fabulous team effort all round! We just need the weather to warm up again, now that many boats are back in the water! Happy sailing everyone!
