RYA Discover Sailing 29 May, 12-5pm, call for volunteers

On Sunday 29th May the Club will run the Discover Sailing open day, where we will open our doors to welcome visitors from the local community and beyond and offer the opportunity to experience a short sail on a variety of boats plus activities onshore. The Club in the past has benefited from attracting new people during these open days.
Discover Sailing has formerly been known as "Push The Boat Out" and has been a success for the Club. You can read more on the RYA website. Our event is listed here: Discover Sailing with Royal Forth Yacht Club | Venue & event details | RYA
To make this another successful event, we need volunteers both on shore and on the water to take visitors on short sailing trips (~15 minutes). Ideally, we need around 16 volunteers on land, and a range of different boats and crews that are keen to show the potential new members how great sailing is!
