Congratulations to M.Y. Black Pig & family

On Saturday, members were treated to the Grande Prevue of M.Y. Black Pig.
This has been an incredible restoration project and a great story. Member, Martin Stokes, took on this classic Miller Fifer in 2019 and tucked her bones under a white tent in the Royal Forth boatyard for what turned out to be a four-year gestation period.
The Club is mightily proud [relieved!] that this impressive work has been achieved for Lift-In 2023. Martin has been living and breathing his boat, assisted by an incredible family team working intensively over the Winter, stepping up the push to the final deadline. To see the progress in the last fortnight and to see her finally emerge this weekend has been awe-inspiring. We send our heartfelt congratulations to Martin & family and can't wait to see her on the water this Spring.
We also thank Marcus Pickering for the delicious Gin on Saturday evening, from his beautiful souvenir M.Y. Black Pig bottles.
Lift In is going to be particularly special this year something of a launching ceremony for some.
