On Tuesday this week, the Cadets got their on the water season underway. We have 23 very enthusiastic cadets enrolled in cadet training this season. Every Tuesday evening, Cadets enjoy either on the shore training to learn theory/knots/boat techniques or they go out sailing (tide permitting). The cadets are supported by parent helpers and our lead instructor, Fiona Drennan. The Cadets sail in a range of club boats that include Toppers, RS Feva, Laser 2000s and two Squibs. Some something for everyone! Also on a Tuesday, club members with dinghies can come down and sail, with the benefit of having safety boat cover. We are looking forward to lots of fun on and off the water this season!
