FOR SALE: Dragon 'Red Kestra' GBR 489
RFYC Member Richard Leask has decided to sell his GRP Dragon "Red Kestra GBR 489."
With the Edinburgh Cup imminently about to take place, this may be a very attractive opportunity for a member or potential member of RFYC.
However, Richard has also been approached with a request to loan the boat for the event so this opportunity to purchase has a deadline for completion of 30th June, 2021 otherwise it will be withdrawn from sale.
Richard believes that a reasonable price for the boat is £7000.00.
However, to help maintain the health of the RFYC Dragon fleet he is willing to offer two levels of discount as follows:
- If the boat stays in the water at RFYC for one season, Richard will accept £6500.00 for the boat.
- If the boat stays in the water at RFYC for three seasons, Richard will accept £6000.00 for the boat.
Richard notes that there is an extensive sail inventory and that the boat has been Scottish Dragon Champion on three occasions and been top Vintage Dragon (+20/+25 years) at the Edinburgh Cup on many occasions.
