WINTER TALK: Tom's Pilgrimage - a film (re-run)
In August 2022 RFYC lost a dedicated member, a good friend and a great character, TOM WILSON. One of Tom's last wishes was to have his ashes scattered in the Sound of Mull and this film is a record (filmed in 2023) of the journey undertaken by some of Tom's family and closest friends to honour that wish. WINTER TALK: Torben Sell, While the Six Gales Roared, Thurs 18th Jan
In July and August 2023 Torben set once again sail for Germany, returning via Denmark and Norway. He will talk about his experience hoisting his spinnaker single-handed in the middle of the North Sea, being caught up in a thunderstorm, and an encounter with a pod of orcas in the Skaggerak. Fireworks and Prizegiving: Sat 11 Nov from 6:30pm
Who's coming to the annual Fireworks and Prizegiving on Saturday 11th November 2023? The fireworks begin at 18:30 followed by the prizegiving for the season's winners. Scottish, Classic & Vintage Dragon combined, & H-Boat Championships 2023
The Royal Forth Yacht Club welcomed three well-travelled visitors to Edinburgh for a combined Scottish as well as the BDA Classic and Vintage Dragon Championship, and the H-Boat National Championships.
