LIFT IN 2023

Within this Lift-In set of 'events' you are able to book all you need as well as RENEW and pay for your moorings and yard storage as required. If you wish to change your mooring or storage rather than simply renew the same as last year, please contact Karen in the office, admin@royalforth.org.

You are now able to book use of the Contract Crane or Club Pillar Crane here, as well as in the usual way via the Yard and Harbour Manager and his diary.

Prices for Yard Storage and Moorings have been updated for Summer 2023 as follows:

YARD SUMMER STORAGE

  • Craft (yacht, motorboat, rib): £90.00 per m
  • Dry Sailed (including club crane season ticket): £105.00 per m
  • Multihull: £107.00 per m
  • Sailing Dinghies (including trailer): £110.00 fixed charge
  • Tenders (stored on racks): £30.00 fixed charge
  • Canoes, Paddleboards, Sailboards: £30.00 fixed charge
  • Storage of Yacht Trailer or Boat Cradle: £140.00 fixed charge

NB: For "long stay" craft in the yard a supplement will now be added as advised to members in 2022. A long stay craft is one that has remained in the yard without being launched after two consecutive summer seasons including part thereof.

For craft entering the third year of storage in 2023, the supplement will be 50% of the appropriate storage charge.

EAST HARBOUR MOORINGS

  • Craft (yacht, multihull, motorboat): £105.00* per m

* Includes £182 charge for servicing/repairing the mooring and £86 for unlimited use of club launch service.

  • Small boats: £86.00* per m

* Rate includes a pro rata charge for the provision of these services.

Definition of a small boat: under 6m (20ft) overall length and less than 0.6m (2ft) draught. If in any doubt contact the Mooring Secretary, Neil Moffat, moorings@royalforth.org.

CLUB CRANE

  • Use of electric hoist for boat/mast lift: £56.00 per lift
  • Self-use of rope tackle (for mast lift etc.): No charge
  • Yard & Harbour Manager assistance for either of the above: £25.00 per hour (min charge 1 hr)
  • Season Ticket* (Boat with RFYC Mooring): £220.00

* Cost for dry sailed boat using crane included in the summer yard charge rate

By applying for use of Club facilities over this period, the boat owner must confirm to be bound by the Regulations & Conditions governing the use of the mooring area and Club Crane. Each member must confirm that their craft and equipment have and will continue to have proper insurance cover for all eventualities, and accept that the Royal Forth Yacht Club, its Officials and Agents bear no responsibility for anything whatsoever.
