Edinburgh Regatta & Festival Series 2024

Entries are open to all our fellow Forth Yacht Clubs to these two events in August. We look forward to welcoming you to Granton Harbour.

The Edinburgh Regatta 2024 will be taking place on Saturday 3rd & Sunday 4th August hosted by the Royal Forth Yacht Club & Forth Corinthian Yacht Club. It will offer "round the cans" racing for Fast/ Slow keelboats & Sports/Day boats, and Passage racing for Cruisers. Single classes can be created if more than 6 entries. The last date for entry is midnight Friday 2nd August unless a yacht does not have a FYCA handicap in which case entries must be received by midnight Thursday 1st August.

The Regatta fee for Class 1-3 (Fast Yachts, Day Boats, Slow Yachts) is £30.00 and for Class 4 (Cruiser Class) is £20.00. This includes Berthing Charges for all yachts on Saturday 3rd August. The fee does not include lift in or out NB: the RFYC Club Crane is available for £60 to include lift in and out but will need to be booked in advance.

The Festival Series White Sail Regatta will take place on the evenings of Thursday 8th & Friday 9th August hosted by the Royal Forth Yacht Club. This event will offer evening "white sail" races for Day Boats and Cruisers. Entry is FREE for this event.

NB: Berthing is free to competitors overnight between sailing days of each regatta. Competitors wishing to enter both events and stay in Granton in between the events, or wishing to arrive a night early/ leave a day later will be able to berth on the EML pontoon in Granton Harbour for RFYC/FCYC member rates on these days.
